In early 2022, together with my father I had the pleasure of visiting one of my favorite cities in Poland—Kraków. There’s something truly magical about this place. With its rich history, beautiful architecture, and charming streets, Kraków never fails to captivate me. The iconic Rynek Główny, the largest medieval market square in Europe, is always a must-visit, surrounded by cafes, horse-drawn carriages, and historic buildings like St. Mary’s Basilica and the Cloth Hall.
During my stay, I also took a trip to Zakopane, a popular mountain resort town nestled in the Tatra Mountains. It’s the perfect escape from city life, with its fresh air and scenic mountain views. From there, I ventured to Morskie Oko, a stunning alpine lake known for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking surroundings. The hike to Morskie Oko, though a bit challenging, was well worth it once I reached the serene landscape.
Kraków and the surrounding areas always leave me with a sense of awe, and this trip was no exception. If you ever find yourself in Poland, both the city and the mountains offer experiences you won’t want to miss.
